Doug Stevenson

"The Power to Persuade - The Magic of Story"
Presented by Doug Stevenson, CSP

Logic explains, but stories persuade. In this inspiring, enlightening and fun-filled keynote, you will experience the power of strategic storytelling to influence, engage and persuade; and will learn techniques you can use immediately to make your stories more effective.

If all that it took to persuade someone to change their behavior or see your point of view was to give them the pertinent facts and information, everyone would be equally persuasive. We all know thatís not the case. Some people are more persuasive than others.

In this program, Doug will unlock the "secret code" to being more memorable, persuasive, and effective in your communication by simply telling the right story, that makes the right point, for the right situation.

Doug Stevenson is one of the country's foremost experts on storytelling in business. He is the creator of The Story Theater Method and has shared his message about the Magic of Story from Milwaukee to Munich, from Tucson to Tokyo and from Louisville to London. What makes Doug unique is his ability to entertain you with his wonderful stories, and then take you behind the curtain to reveal what he did to make the magic happen.

You will learn:
          • How and why stories work to influence and persuade
          • How to identify your best stories
          • How to determine the point of the story
          • How to take potential clients on a test-drive of what it's like to work with you

Being able to tell the right story, that makes the right point, for the right situation is critical to your career success. Attend this meeting and take your communication skills to the next level with strategic storytelling.
